Description

In Wisconsin, to represent a minor in regards to a personal injury claim, the Court requires that an attorney act as Guardian ad Litem for the minor during the course of the case.  Upon reaching a settlement agreement with the opposing parties, the attorney is required to Petition the Court for an Order approving the acceptance of the settlement and approval of any disbursements including medical bills and attorney fees.
