Declaration of Emancipation of Minor After Hearing
Emancipation is a legal way for children to become adults before they are 18. Once a child is emancipated, his or her parents do not have custody or control of him or her anymore. Emancipation is usually forever. But the court can cancel the emancipation if the minor asking for the emancipation lies to the court or is no longer able to support himself or herself.

Claim Opposing Forfeiture of Vehicle
If a Claim Opposing Forfeiture is timely filed and served, however, the prosecuting agency must file a petition for judicial forfeiture within 30 days after receipt of the claim. Otherwise, the prosecuting agency loses the right to maintain custody of the seized property. Vehicle forfeiture can occur when a car is used to commit a criminal act—which includes driving while intoxicated (DWI) offenses.
